An exhibition of paintings by Jean Duncan completed during her CECHR residency, with photographs by Martin Kirkbride and Tracey Dixon of the School of the Environment and posters from staff and students who have worked with Jean over the past 18 months.

Also on display will be plans, models and designs from Macro Micro Studio, 5th year Masters students in the School of Architecture.

Jean has worked with Wenni Deng and Pete Iannetta at the James Hutton Institute making drawings from microscopic images of Capsella bursa-pastoris - Shepherds Purse.

CECHR, the Centre for Environmental Change and Human Resilience, is a collaboration between the James Hutton Institute and the University of Dundee.

There will be a lunchtime talk on’ Survival in a Hostile Environment’ by Dr Pete Iannetta at 12.30pm on Wednesday 14 March in the River Rooms.

The James Hutton Research Institute is the result of the merger in April 2011 of MLURI and SCRI. This merger formed a new powerhouse for research into food, land use, and climate change.
