Workshop
7th September 2016
at Puebla, Mexico
for scientists

Under the Researcher Links scheme offered within the Newton Fund, the British Council, the James Hutton Institute and Colegio de Postgraduados (COLPOS, Campus-Puebla), will be holding a workshop on the above theme in Puebla, Mexico on 7, 8 and 9 of September 2016. The workshop is being coordinated by Prof. Alison Hester (James Hutton Institute) and Dr. Javier Ramirez (COLPOS), and will have contributions from other leading researchers. We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from Mexico and the UK to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Newton Researcher Links programme. The application form, with more details on the initiative, is available and should be sent before the deadline of 20th of June 2016.

Colegio de Postgraduados British Council Researcher Links gives early career researchers across selected partner countries the opportunity to form international connections through fully funded workshops and travel grants. The Newton Fund aims to promote the economic development and social welfare of either the partner countries or, through working with the partner country, to address the well being of communities
