The James Hutton Institute will be inviting members of the public to find out more about how plants grow at the annual Gardening Scotland event in Edinburgh. With over 400 exhibitors it is the largest gardening show in Scotland with approximately 40,000 visitors over the three days it is open.

We will have a range of literature for the gardening and horticultural audience and can speak directly to members of the public on issues relating to soil management and environmental stewardship.

Visit us at stand 207 in the Living Garden area.

The James Hutton Research Institute is the result of the merger in April 2011 of MLURI and SCRI. This merger formed a new powerhouse for research into food, land use, and climate change.
