Good water quality is essential for humans but also for the vitality of our rivers and lochs. Dr Kirsty Blackstock will discuss how we can link social, cultural and economic issues to catchment management.

The James Hutton Research Institute is the result of the merger in April 2011 of MLURI and SCRI. This merger formed a new powerhouse for research into food, land use, and climate change.
