SSCR Combinable and Energy Crops Winter Meeting 2016 - MEETING POSTPONED

The Combinable and Energy Crops Committee regret to advise that this meeting has been postponed. A new date will be announced later in the year.

The Scottish Society for Crop Research (SSCR) Combinable and Energy Crops Sub-committee will hold its Winter Meeting at the James Hutton Institute in Dundee.

The theme for this year's meeting is "Cover Crops for Scotland"

Programme

Registration is from 10:00am before the meeting starts at 10:30am with an introduction followed by a series of talks. Refreshments will be provided on arrival.

After the meeting there will an opportunity to visit cover crop field trials at the Invergowrie site.

Event programme detailing the talks etc will follow in due course.

Attending

Please note that this meeting is free for SSCR members but there is a £15 attendance fee for non-members. Membership of SSCR costs £15 a year and there will be the opportunity to join at the meeting. Please register your interest in attending this meeting to:

The James Hutton Research Institute is the result of the merger in April 2011 of MLURI and SCRI. This merger formed a new powerhouse for research into food, land use, and climate change.
