The 17th annual conference of the Tay Estuary Forum will focus on Creative Coasts when it is held at the West Park Conference Centre in Dundee on 4 April 2014.

Some of the subjects featured at the conference will be:

  • Scientists and artists combine, illustrating innovative ways of engaging communities with the coast
  • 2014 Commonwealth Games preparations and venue development at Barry Buddon, Angus
  • Planning update by Marine Scotland for Offshore Renewables around Scotland
  • Guardbridge Energy Centre: Sustainable Power and Research Campus (SPARC)
  • Flood defence and assessment of storm damage to coastal sites and assets
  • Celebrating local biodiversity with local artists.
