Royal Highland Show 2016
The James Hutton Institute is delighted to once again be inviting visitors to join them at their marquee during the Royal Highland Show where we will be showcasing the contribution our science and research makes to the continuing success of Scottish farming, food and land-based industries.
During the show we will launch our research programme for the next five years, as well as announce the winner of Best Soil in Show which has been run in conjunction with the National Farmers Union of Scotland, Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs and Soil Association Scotland. This is the fourth year we have run Best Soil in Show which helps highlight the importance of looking after soils. Join us for a Scottish Superfoods Breakfast on Friday - not a Goji berry or chia seed in sight!
Our scientists will be on hand to answer your questions and tell visitors about the practical applications of our current research.
