The Conference represents a wide spectrum of life science interests in and around the city, from the ‘red end’ of medical sciences to the ‘green end’ with plant and crop science. This year's accompanying Networking Reception and Gala Dinner will have a murder mystery theme. At this one-off event you will get an insight into Forensic Soil Science and hear the science behind crime writing from Professor Lorna Dawson of the James Hutton Institute and best-selling author behind ITV's Vera, Ann Cleeves.
