Arable Scotland is a brand-new event for Scotland where the industry can view, share and explore the new innovations that will drive the markets and the future sustainability of Scottish arable production. Free to attend, the event features a whistle-stop tour of a core set of field plots alongside a mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits and field-based demonstrations and trials. Visitors will also have plenty of opportunities to tour the Centre for Sustainable Cropping Platform and participate in our "Arable Conversations" sessions.

The event is organised and hosted by the James Hutton Institute in partnership with Scotland's Rural College and AHDB.

The event is supported by the Farm Advisory Service, SEFARI and the Scottish Farmer and sponsored by HL Hutchinson Ltd and the Scottish Society for Crop Research.

We have created a specific event website where you will find the list of exhibitors, event programme and how to register your attendance. Please click the link below:

The James Hutton Research Institute is the result of the merger in April 2011 of MLURI and SCRI. This merger formed a new powerhouse for research into food, land use, and climate change.
