Chloe Thompson
I have a Psychology BSc from the University of Leeds and joined the Social, Economic and Geographic Sciences Group (SEGS) in 2022, where I am part of the Sustainability Transitions and Behaviours subgroup.
My research interests are wide ranging, including sustainability in rural communities and the policy implications of this, human interaction with green spaces, and biodiversity in farming. Some of my previous work has focused on the relationships between green spaces and sense of belonging.
I am currently working on one EU funded Horizon 2020 project, and two funded by the Scottish Government RESAS Strategic Research Programme (SRP) 2022-27:
MOVING H2020 – MOuntain Valorisation through INterconnectedness and Green Growth
C3-1 – Scottish Land Use Transformations
C6-1 – Reciprocal Care for Nature and Wellbeing
Previous work at Hutton has included the EU H2020 project FRAMEwork, and evaluation work for Cumbernauld Living Landscape.
