Ally
Age:
Younger than most Scottish soils
Address:
Along most of our major river courses
Preferred Occupation:
Very flexible; arable farmer in East Scotland, a valuable sponge in some valleys.
Height/Weight:
Often quite tall but with feet permanently in water. Sometimes almost totally submerged.
Colour:
Pale, but often blue-grey at depth
Personality:
Flat
Notes:
Farmers love Ally as she is very easy to drive across and plough. She also lives in some of the most sheltered and warmest parts of Scotland and is very popular with plants. Prone to flood; she is a very popular place for people to live, despite advice to the contrary.
