Imaging Technologies (ImTech) is extremely well resourced for a wide variety of imaging methods ranging from standard histology through confocal microscopy to electron microscopy. Information on the equipment available in our laboratory suite is below.

Confocal microscopy

  • Nikon A1R Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope with Argon (457nm, 488nm, 514nm), 405nm and 561nm lasers, 4 channels including 2 GaAsP detectors. 
  • Zeiss LSM 710 Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope with Argon (458nm, 488nm, 514nm), 405nm, 440nm pulsed diode and 561nm DPSS lasers
  • Becker and Hickl FLIM system
