Dr Craig Leisher of The Nature Conservancy [1] will deliver this seminar entitled
Why is decision-making better in mixed-gender groups? What happens when both men and women have a say in local resource management? This talk draws on evidence from the corporate world and the forestry sector to illustrate the advantages of a greater role for women in natural resource management. It makes the case that empowering women can lead to more sustainable and more equitable natural resources management.
