The James Hutton Institute is organising this conference which is a component of the European project E-CLIC. Delegates from all over the UK will gather to discuss the challenges posed by the European Landscape Convention (ELC) in relation to public participation in landscapes, and the role to be played by Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tools. Our guest speakers, Professor Alister Scott, Birmingham City University, and Dr Olaf Schroth, University of Sheffield, will discuss the ELC and the potential for the use of innovative learning using ICT resources.
Information on the E-CLIC project can be found on the website [1].
Contact Jose Munoz-Rojas [2] for information on participating in the conference.
