The Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) was established to provide decision makers with scientifically credible and independent information that takes into account the complex relationship between biodiversity, ecosystem services and people. But what is happening in practice and how is this prestigious body (i) considering the science-practice-policy interface in Scotland and (ii) what insights are there for future Scottish policy and practice.
