Geology:
alluvial deposits.
Landforms:
alluvial areas in close proximity to rivers.
Soils:
immature free and imperfectly drained, loamy textured alluvial soils (wetness class I-Ill).
Vegetation:
often intensively cultivated.
Flow:
these soils are underlain by a fluctuating groundwater table generally within two metres, by-pass flow common.
