Geology:
loamy drift deposits, some moundy moraine.
Landforms:
gently to strongly undulating lowland and foothills, some valley-side and hummocky moraines.
Soils:
weakly gleyed brown earths and humus-iron podzols (wetness class II - III) often with a compact, indurated subsoils.
Vegetation:
arable with permanent and semi-natural grasslands, coniferous plantation, broadleaved woodland and moorland.
