The Chalara Action Plan for Scotland [1] Awareness-raising programme included developing public exhibition resources. An interactive model of woodlands in NW Scotland was used to present in the Virtual Landscape Theatre [2] scenarios of spread and potential impacts of Chalara (ash) dieback. The exhibit was presented at the John Hope Gateway, RBGE [3] (August, 2013), and the touring exhibition was presented at the Satrosphere Science Centre [4], Aberdeen.
More background to Chalara (ash) dieback, the events, and images from the virtual reality model are available here [5]. Information about the virtual reality model is available here [6]. The model can be downloaded from the Zenodo repository [7] for use on a PC or with a virtual reality headset.
