Brown or pale brown
Moundy terrain in valley bottoms or flat terraces adjacent to major rivers and streams; flat raised beach deposits; generally undulating and moundy terrain in areas of glacial outwash.
Arable, permanent pasture, forestry and recreation
Inherently acid with low amounts of basic cations. Trace elements, especially cobalt and copper, are generally low.
Generally unrestricted but limited in some soilsby a strongly cemented subsoil or an iron pan. Weak structure at depth.
