The Virtual Landscape Theatre (VLT) is a mobile curved screen projection facility, in which people can be 'immersed' in computer models of their environment to explore landscapes and seascapes of the past, present and future.

This event ‘Our Future Seascapes’ will discuss wind farm developments on the west coast, pressures on land use and the coast around Loch Linnhe, and related environmental subjects.

Small groups of 12-15 people will have the opportunity to experience their environment by interactively moving around the virtual world. They can record their opinions on the views by using a voting handset and discuss the issues raised. The presentation and discussion will be around an hour to an hour and a half long.

Entry is free and the VLT will be open to the general public on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 May. Bookings are being taken from schools, local authorities and  other public services to visit the VLT on Friday 18, Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 May.

For more information and to enquire about group bookings contact Paula Horne [1].
