The Rhizosphere Interactions symposium is a joint meeting of the Scottish Root Group and the Scottish Discussion Group of the British Society of Soil Science (BSSS). The keynote speaker is Alex Dumbrell, University of Essex who will talk on "Recent advances in the understanding of the community ecology of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi".
Students and early stage scientists are invited to submit abstracts for short talks or posters at the symposium on any aspect of root or soil science. Full details of how to submit an abstract and to book your place visit the symposium page [1] on the BSSS website.
Registration for the symposium costs £15 (late registration £20) and the deadline for registration and submission of abstracts is 18 February 2013.
