The Scottish Rivers Handbook has been produced by the James Hutton Institute and the University of Stirling for CREW [1], the Centre of Expertise for Waters.
It is an accessible, fully illustrated 36 page book providing an overview of the physical character of Scotland’s rivers. The book aims to educate people on working with river processes and natural forms in a sympathetic manner through explaining their natural forms, functions and benefits to society.
