Development and exploitation of genomics resources is pivotal to the identification of causal genes underlying key biological targets, which include agronomic traits in crop species, pathogenicity of plant diseases and fundamental processes in model organisms. The Genome Technology group provides access for all James Hutton Institute staff and external collaborating groups to high-throughput genomics tools and expertise.
The group is managed by Pete Hedley [1], who will be pleased to discuss any potential projects, and supported by Jenny Morris, Clare Booth and Louise Donnelly.
