This free international conference will explore how new information technologies can be best used in the environmental sector to address some of society’s greatest future challenges.
The conference will focus on three primary questions.

This conference is being organised by the NERC-funded Environmental Virtual Observatory (EVO) pilot project; of which the James Hutton Institute is a partner; with the support of five diverse and influential learned societies (British Ecological Society, British Hydrological Society, Royal Geographical Society, Royal Meteorological Society and The British Society of Soil Science).
