Research Facilities
The James Hutton Institute has a wide range of facilities and scientific resources. These are used in conducting our own research primarily but we also encourage their use by other organisations and researchers outside the institute to benefit science, research and development and industry. Our scientific resources including long term experiments, collections and databases and are available to others for collaborative research and many of them have procedures that enable others to gain access. The associated Inventory of Resources is intended to give a single listing of our most important resources and there is contact names associated with each to make it easier for you to find out more and gain access if required.
