As part of our James Hutton Tercentenary celebrations, we are pleased to invite you to a talk by Ray Perman, Founding Chair and Honorary Fellow of The James Hutton Institute.

The event will be hosted by Professor Colin CampbellChief Executive, The James Hutton Institute.

 

Ray is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and brings a wealth of experience across research, public policy and leadership in Scotland. Ray is the former Director of the David Hume Institute and previously served as a trustee of the Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland and current Chair of Court at the University of St Andrews. An accomplished author, Ray has written four books, with his most recent publication James Hutton: Genius of Time, exploring the life and impact of the father of modern geology.

This event will take place within the Crop Innovation Centre, The James Hutton Institute, Invergowrie. It will be broadcasted to our Craigiebuckler campus.
