- gently to strongly undulating lowland and foothills, some valley-side and hummocky moraines.
- Soils:
- weakly gleyed brown earths and humus-iron podzols (wetness class II - III) often with a compact, indurated subsoils.
- Vegetation:
- arable with permanent and semi-natural grasslands, coniferous plantation, broadleaved woodland and moorland.
