Soils@Hutton - Soil data and maps

We hold a number of key datasets and resources of importance in soil and broader environmental research at local and national level. And we continue to collect new data by survey as well as via remote sensing and other smart data acquisition techniques. We also have an ongoing program to digitise, update and enhance existing survey and map data. All of our published datasets are available free of charge for non-commercial use.

To download copies of the soil maps, navigate to the soil map page either by clicking on the image of the soil map of Scotland (right) or using the link here.
