Adekunle Ibiyemi is a research assistant (GIS) in the Information and Computational Sciences Department. He is mostly involved in managing Institute water data in a database and spatial data capturing, processing and analysis. Prior to joining the Institute he worked with two international agricultural research institutes overseas and with an environmental consultancy firm and a local council within UK, with work primarily involving the use of GIS and other related packages to manage and manipulate/model geospatial data.

Ade has background in geology and information science with specialisation in geo-information. His research interests are in spatial modelling and analysis. He has been involved prior to joining the Institute in using GIS to store, analyse and model spatial data. He is involved mostly with water related teams in processing and analysing spatial tasks components of projects.
