Corran Musk was awarded a BSc (Honours) in Mathematical Sciences with Computing from Robert Gordon University in 1995. Following that Corran worked in a number IT related jobs in industry before joining the Rowett Institute in 1999; where he gained an MSc in Bioinformatics from The University of Manchester, completing it in 2011. Corran subsequently joined the IT Services group at the James Hutton Institute in 2013 as a Systems Administrator.
