I am one of the Institute's Mental Health First Aiders and have completed my Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training which enables me to support people in crisis.

Past research

Most projects detailed below have been created with a combination of Java and Vue.js.

  • RTD Box, a user-friendly web interface to a bioinformatics pipeline to enable researchers to make use of specialised tools in a more accessible fashion.
  • NewbieVille, a web-based application in the form of an educational game to teach players about farm management and the different access routes to farming.
  • Monitoring and management tools to support the Crop Diversity HPC, a shared high performance computing resource used by seven UK institutions collaborating on crop research projects.
  • Flapjack, a desktop application for visualising genetic data of crops.
