  • Diploma in Mathematical Statistics, Churchill College, Cambridge.
  • PhD 'Mathematical and statistical modelling of marine plankton in the vicinity of the Western Irish Sea Front' University College of North Wales, Bangor.
  • 1988-April 2011, employed by Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland as a statistician, based at SCRI.
  • April 2011-present, employed by Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland as a statistician, based at The James Hutton Institute.
