Ellie Rennie

I am a research assistant within the Land and Environmental Governance sub-group in the Social, Economic and Geographical Sciences (SEGS) department. I graduated with a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. I started at Hutton in September 2024 as a graduate research assistant, before transitioning to a research assistant role in March 2025. I work on various projects, with a interested in participatory research, land-use and the connection between people and nature.
