Dundee-China collaboration discovers potential ‘Achilles heel’ of potato blight

Working with colleagues in China, scientists at the James Hutton Institute and the University of Dundee have identified a potato enzyme that, if removed, could prevent late blight from taking hold and causing losses estimated at US$6billion around the world every year.
